Do you eat when you are stressed, bored or sad? Do you find that you turn to food for comfort? Has the pandemic contributed to poor eating habits? If so, please know that you are not alone. Most of us are having a tough time nourishing ourselves right now. The good news is that there are scientifically proven mindfulness practices that can help you return to healthy eating patterns. By learning to pay attention to mindless or emotional eating, it will be easier for you to let go of old behaviors and begin to form new habits that feel better.
Participants in my 6-week program will utilize the Eat Right Now app that was developed by Dr. Judson Brewer, world renowned expert in behavior change. This evidence-based program focuses on simple mindfulness techniques that actually work. Cindy will meet with the group each week to personalize the program in a way that works for each member while fostering learning from the group environment.
