Meet Cindy

health and wellness coach

Hi and Welcome!

Wellness has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When the term was first coined, I was a college intern at the University of Wisconsin working for the founder of the movement, Dr William Hettler. I was so intrigued and inspired by the Wellness concept that I remained at the university for additional training and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.

After graduation, I put my true passion on hold and got a “real” job. So, I hit the corporate world with much trepidation. After 5 years at Fidelity Investments followed by an MBA at Boston College and 5 additional years in corporate America, I traded in my career for a new life of motherhood complete with diapers, sleepless nights, and more love that I can describe.

Throughout those years of raising our 5 children with my husband Tim, Wellness and Fitness never left my bones. I pushed that jogger stroller for many miles and paid attention to leading a healthy lifestyle for myself and family.  When it was time to transition back to the workforce, it was my husband Tim who suggested a career in Fitness.

I became certified by The National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer and soon launched a successful fitness business from the ground up. My business partner and I successfully ran our business for close to 14 years.

Health Coaching became a natural extension of my fitness business and gave me the opportunity to work with people on a deeper, more personal level. Be Inspired Fitness and Health Coaching has been several years in the making starting with my training at The Mayo Clinic in 2014. My successful completion of this rigorous program led to my eligibility to sit for the National Board Exam for Health and Wellness Coaches. And I am proud to say that I now hold this important credential.

Currently I am training under the tutelage of Dr. Judson Brewer, world renown expert in the field of habit change, best-selling author, and developer of the Eat Right Now and Unwinding Anxiety programs.

I am inspired by those who seek my partnership in the Coaching relationship and am committed to the belief that Health Coaching is the wave of the future and the key to successful change. If you are thinking about making some changes, I encourage you to reach out to me and let’s have a conversation
